WHAT OUR MECHANICS DO

Our Experienced Mechanics make sure our lanes, pinspotters/pinsetters, and other building equipment are all in tip-top shape by performing preventative maintenance and making emergency repairs when necessary. If you’ve got a strong mechanical aptitude and a history of exceptional performance, you’ll thrive as a member of our team. 

 

A MECHANIC’S DAY-TO-DAY: 

  • Responsible for installing, maintaining, servicing and rebuilding mechanical pieces of equipment and rides to sustain specified safety and performance standards
  • Conduct ride inspections on a daily basis
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Assist other departments and trades personnel with any aspect of the park as assigned by direct supervisor or manager
  • Assist in ordering materials for projects and assigned tasks
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision
  • Ability to comprehend blueprints and schematic diagrams, and follow manufacturer's specifications
  • Experience servicing maintenance equipment and systems (bearings, drives, lifts, gearboxes, chains, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
  • Must provide own tools and some equipment related to mechanical trades
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Comply with all park policies, procedures, and labor law

  • Project Management: Understand and manage projects from concept to completion. Develop and achieve strategic objectives, plans and time schedules; organize and manage competing priorities, while maintaining a steadfast commitment to detail
  • Flexibility – Handle multiple priorities simultaneously; maintain a flexible work schedule to meet changing demands for multiple concurrent projects
  • Initiative and Adaptability – Take initiative and execute plans to accomplish strategic objectives in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Experience:

  • Must have experience in related fields
  • Must have mechanical and electrical trouble shooting experience
  • One to two years of welding experience preferred
  • Certified in AWS welding processes preferred

Other:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions and elements including the direct sun with no shade, cold, rain, dust, and all other outdoor weather elements
  • Must be able to stand, kneel, walk, stoop, and bend
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 75lbs
  • Must be able to work at heights in excess of 100 feet
  • Must provide own tools and some equipment related to mechanical trades
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must have reliable transportation, and this position may require you to run errands
  • Must hold, or be able to acquire a CPO Certification
  • Must possess the physical capabilities necessary to perform the job duties

WORK ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

 

  • Typical entertainment environment where you will walk, bend and stand for periods of time, and may lift objects with some assistance.    

 

 

Job Type: Part-time

 

Pay: $19 - $26 / hr.

 

Shift:

The pay range for this position is $19 - $26 / hr.
